NCAA Football Picks: Miami vs Florida Betting Preview
College Football News

NCAA Football Picks: Miami vs Florida Betting Preview NCAA Football Picks Miami vs Florida: Okay, the Gators won easy last week over Hawaii crushing them 56-10, and I must ad that they were a best bet for me last week.  Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow had one big play against Hawaii.  "Big plays take the wind out of your sails," Florida coach Urban Meyer said. "Can you expect that from us? I don't know. There's some guys that when they touch the ball and if you make a mistake, they can score on you. Fun to watch."  Florida scored on offense, defense and special teams - getting big plays from six different players - and rout.  OK...this game was set up years ago before Miami was bad.  But yes...for a long time Florida didn't want anything to do with the U.  That is why the Seminole war canoe is on permanent display at Miami.  Then Florida played them a few times in recent years and got crushed but the fact is this is a more historical rivalry than Miami-FSU and should absolutely be played every year. I think all the Florida teams should play each other every year.  The Oddsmakers at LooseLines.com currently have Florida -23 favorites to Miami heading into this matchup with the total at 51 points.

The Hurricanes beat Charleston Southern 52-7 in their new home, Dolphin Stadium, as expected but the skeptics weren’t buying into it.   The Hurricanes have dropped from the elite of college football in recent years -- they haven't been to a BCS bowl game since the 2003 season.  In last week's game Javarris James rushed 12 times for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Hurricanes (1-0), who took full control with a 21-point first quarter, their highest-scoring period since Sept. 9, 2006 against Florida A&M.  The ‘U’ stands 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in the last 6 battles with Florida, covering 4 of the previous 5 played at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.  The most important thing to remember here, above all else, whatever you do, don't forget, no matter how bad the Canes might or might not be they always step up when it comes to playing the Noles and the Gators.

NCAA Football Picks: This is going to be a tough battle against the spread in this game as the line is right where I thought it would be and both of these teams have good ATS stats.  Florida is 8-0 ATS in the second of back to back home games.  I'm probably going to pull up a chair and watch this game, but I would recommend for the bettors out there is to play the total to go under.  Don't forget to check out my top plays for College Football Picks for Saturday.  I have some big plays going and they are all Guaranteed!

Trends for this game

Under is 12-3 in Hurricanes last 15 games in September.

Under is 20-6 in Hurricanes last 26 non-conference games.

Under is 40-18 in Hurricanes last 58 games overall.

NCAA Football Picks: Rice vs Memphis Betting Preview
College Football News

NCAA Football Picks: Rice vs Memphis Betting Preview NCAA Football Picks Rice vs Memphis: The Owls put up 56 points last week in a win over SMU.  Scoring 56 points against anyone tends to get you noticed.  It was Rice that put up the big numbers in the debut of June Jones' run-and-shoot offense at SMU.  The Owls mustered an impressive 208 yards rushing against SMU, a considerable improvement over last year’s almost non-existent rushing attack.  Chase Clement threw six touchdown passes - three to Jarett Dillard.  "They are good," Jones said, referring to the Rice offense. "They have been doing that for a year and they really exposed us. They have a nice scheme, but we have to play better, do what we are supposed to do and just play better everywhere."  The Owl Offensive Line has improved dramatically since last year and should be credited.  They will be hard to stop again this week.  The Oddsmakers at Bodoglife.com currently have Memphis -3 favorites to Rice with the total at 65 points.

Tigers lost to Old Miss last week, 41-24.  It was the first time Ole Miss scored 40 points against a Football Bowl Subdivision opponent since a 43-40 win over South Carolina on Nov. 1, 2003.  Memphis Coach Tommy West basically called out the Tiger Secondary at his press conference Monday saying they played horribly and that they “lost their guts” in man coverage.  They are going to have big trouble stopping the run and the pass of Rice tonight.

NCAA Football Picks:  Both of these teams can put up a lot of points.  The Clement/Dilliard connection is going to be hard to deal with, but I really liked what I saw of the potential of their running game against Ole Miss.  Memphis will be real lucky to hold them under 40 points.  I'm looking at the total in this game going over as both can score.  If you are betting the side I would recommend taking Rice.  Don't forget to check out my top plays for NCAA Football Picks for Saturday.  I have some big plays going and they are all Guaranteed!

Trends for this game:

Owls are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

Owls are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. win.

Over is 4-0 in Owls last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

College Football Picks: Texas Tech vs Nevada Betting Preview

College Football Picks: Texas Tech vs Nevada Betting Preview College Football Picks Texas Tech vs Nevada: The Red Raiders got a win last week, 49-24 over lowly East Washington.  They can score but they gave up 24 points to this team last week.  QB Graham Harrell threw for 536 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for another score.  Racking up passing yards and points hasn't been a problem in recent years for Texas Tech, they are ranked #12 in the land and they need to improve on defense.  Coach Mike Leach was not happy with the overall effort last week.  "I'm optimistic because I'm still excited about this team, but I just felt like we wouldn't have wasted as many plays as we did this game," Leach said. "But we did, and now we have to learn from it and go from there.  Tech didn't do so well against EW.  It was the first game, it shows them the areas they need to work on. I'd rather see the first game like that rather than an absolute domination.  This way they know they need to improve.  The Oddsmakers at LooseLines.com currently have Texas Tech -10 favorites to Nevada heading into this matchup with the total at 69 points.

College Football Picks: The Wolfpack have plenty of depth at QB, and a solid veteran cast in the offensive line to unleash the attack. Tech needs to win this game by double digits today.  If they win but the game is close they might drop in the polls.  If Nevada falls behind early by 17 or 21 then It may be a cover since T.T. will most likely be able to keep a lead all game of double digits.  Don't forget to check out my top plays for College Football Picks for Saturday.  I have some big plays going and they are all Guaranteed!

Trends for this game:

Over is 6-1 in Red Raiders last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

Red Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game.

Red Raiders are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.

NCAA Football Picks: Minnesota at Bowling Green Betting Preview
College Football News

NCAA Picks: Minnesota at Bowling Green Betting PreviewNCAA Football Picks: Minnesota vs Bowling Green: Minnesota got the job done last weekend against Northern Illinois, 31-27.  Duane Bennett pushed his way in for a 1-yard score with 22 seconds as they took the lead and won the game.  The offense looked very solid against Northern Illinois behind sophomore QB Adam Weber.  Weber completed six passes to Decker on the first drive, mostly on short receiver screen plays during a methodical march for a touchdown - an 8-yard toss to Decker in front of end-zone traffic - that took 18 snaps and nearly 9 minutes off the clock.  Weber completed 64 percent of his passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns.  What was even more impressive was that he threw no interceptions.  Coach Tim Brewster, who doubled his career victory total after a 1-11 season, told his guys to go for it on 4th-and-1 at the 3-yard line after calling their final timeout with 38 seconds remaining.  The Oddsmakers at LooseLines.com currently have Bowling Green -5 favorites to Minnesota heading into this matchup with the total at 56 points.

Bowling Green got a big win over Pittsburgh last week, 27-17 and no one thought Pittsburgh would lose that game.  The Falcons (1-0), scoring their second win over a BCS conference school in as many season openers, bounced back from a 14-0 deficit for the first victory by a Mid-American Conference school in Pittsburgh.  Pitt previously was 25-2 against the MAC, 8-0 in season openers and 24-0 at home.  It’s no secret why Bowling Green was able to knock off Pittsburgh despite posting only 254 yards of total offense. The Falcons capitalized on a whopping three fumbles and one interception in their 10-point victory.

NCAA Football Picks: This is a tough call here with the line being so good.  Both teams played well last week.  Minnesota turned the ball over a ton last season and in their opener they didn't turn it over.  So probably they will a few times this week.  If I had to make a bet on the game, I probably would lay the points with Bowling Green after that big win over top 25 team last week.  Don't forget to check out my top plays for NCAA Football Picks for Saturday.  I have some big plays going and they are all Guaranteed!

Trends for this game:

Falcons are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.

Over is 7-0 in Golden Gophers last 7 non-conference games.

NCAA Football Picks: Utah State vs Oregon Betting Preview
College Football News

NCAA Picks Utah State vs Oregon Betting PreviewNCAA Football Picks Utah State vs Oregon: The Ducks got a big win against Washington last week, 44-10.  Now they are at home this week and playing a cupcake team, but the Ducks have a history of beating up on bad teams at home.  While I think the Ducks will win easy, this game should be about getting the second string some serious work.  You know during the season you are going to lose WRs, QBs, RBs, LBs, etc.  The goal in this game is to get the 2nd and 3rd string some work.  Especially, considering they have USC, CAL and ASU later in the season.   Oregon, not like other teams, can really run up the score, coaching staff unlike other's in NCAA know it could very well happen to them and wouldn't want to do that to another team.  Last week in the Washington game, the third stringers came in and still scored 14 points.  The goal is to score points and they will do that here.  The Oddsmakers at LooseLines.com currently have Oregon -36 favorites to Utah State heading into this matchup with the total at 51 points.

Utah State lost last week to UNLV 27-17.  Utah State quarterback Sean Setzer was 10-of-17 for 123 yards with an interception. He was replaced by Diondre Borel with 9:34 left in the third quarter.  Utah State has lost 19 straight against ranked teams since upsetting No. 25 Fresno State in 1991, including six in a row under Guy. The Aggies are also winless in three all-time meetings with the Ducks.  Oregon is 13-1 ATS as a home favorite of 7 points or more and they’re 15-1 ATS in their last 16 home games against teams with a losing record.

NCAA Football Picks: This is another spread that is just right on the nose and I really don't like this game to bet.  If I had to make a bet on this game maybe make a bet on the total in this one to go under.  Oregon is going to put up points, but the big question is can Utah State put up any points at all?  Don't forget to check out my top plays for NCAA Football Picks for Saturday.  I have some big plays going and they are all Guaranteed!

Trends for this matchup:

Ducks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.

Ducks are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games.

Ducks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games on turf.
