In one of the most unpredictable college football picks seasons in recent years, it is only fitting that we have Rutgers playing at Louisville tonight as both teams have not met with pre-season expectations. It is hard to believe that Louisville, with all of their offensive weapons have a losing record at 5-6 on the year. QB Brolin has 29 TD passes compared to only 12 picks but tonight's game is a must win for them to just become bowl eligible as they have lost 3 of their last 4 and the losses to both Utah and Syracuse earlier in the year haven't helped matters either. Battle of the Under Achievers! Thursday, November 29, 2007 7:30pm The Scarlett Knights are having a year that makes you throw the playbook out the window. They are 7-4 but all of their losses have come against their only real opponents in Connecticut, West Virginia, Cincinnati and Maryland. Heisman candidate Ray Rice has been hit or miss in a few of his games but could light it up tonight as the Cardinals have the 74th ranked rush defense in the nation. Teel is probable for the game too with his thumb injury. Here are a couple of things to consider in this one: As mentioned, the Cards have a brutal run defense while Rutgers have the 2nd ranked pass defense in the country. Louisville are just 3-7 ATS L10 overall yet 9-3 L12 ATS in November. Rutgers likes to beat up on the weaker teams going 12-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. So who will tonight?
