The Cleveland Indians could be making some major changes soon if things don’t turn around. Some coaches and players could be headed elsewhere if the Indians don’t play well this weekend at Minnesota. "It's fairly obvious where we're at," Cleveland general manager Mark Shapiro said. "Our expectations have not been met, and it's bitterly disappointing." The Indians have lost five straight and things may not get much better against the Twins in the Metrodome. "We're frustrated," center fielder Grady Sizemore said, "It can change day-to-day or week-to-week, but we've got a long way to go." SBG Global reports that early MLB betting has the public taking Twins at Home.
MLB Betting Preview Cleveland Indians (37-48) at Minnesota Twins (47-38) Friday, 7:10 pm Eastern SBG Global Opening Line: Twins - 128 , Total 9.5 Under -115 The Twins enter the series having won 13 of their last 15 games to get right back in the Central Division race. They took two of three from Detroit in their last series including a 7-0 win on Wednesday. "We've got a lot of young guys playing really well, and they bring a higher energy," infielder Nick Punto said. "It's hard not to feed off that. We're having a lot of fun." Minnesota is 29-18 at the Metrodome this season, including 11-3 against the Central Division. The Twins go with Livan Hernandez on Friday. He is 8-5 this season but has a high 5.22 ERA and is not pitching well. He has lost three of his last five starts with an ERA over six. The Indians send Paul Byrd to the mound on Friday. He is 3-9 with a 5.26 ERA this season. He is Byrd is 10-4 in his career against the Twins with a 3.79 ERA. He did not pitch well, however, in his last start against them allowing six runs in just three innings last month.

Since the his scandal with Madonna broke, Yankees all-star Alex Rodriguez split with his wife Cynthia about three months ago, after the birth of the couple's second daughter, reported by New York Daily News. On a newspaper website, they are reporting that Rodriguez was linked to Madonna. There have been reports that wife Cynthia Rodriguez's had a romantic getaway with rocker Lenny Kravitz in Paris. Kravitz issued a statement of denial Thursday. "Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex's trainer, his wife and their baby girl. She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City," he said. "I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer." The oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com currently have the Alex Rodriguez 10/1 2008 most regular season homeruns. Cynthia Rodriguez probably will get half of A-Rod's money , it won't stop him from getting more women. If you are rich, just stay single until you hit 35 or 40. A-Rod has had some baggage for a while. And this thing with Madonna came out yesterday. All of a sudden he and his wife are separated and you think post partum depression is the reason they are taking a break? Remember the stripper Joslyn Morse he was spotted with? Arod flies Joslyn Morse her all over the country, puts her up in a hotel, goes to sex clubs with her, hooks her up with tickets, bought her a condo in Tampa, etc. I know this had been going on for a few years. Joslyn was formerly an exotic dancer at Scores Las Vegas strip club and has been spotted with A-Rod in Tampa, Miami, Dallas, Las Vegas, Seattle and most recently caught in the Toronto scandal. Let's hope he has a good lawyer. This is gonna cost him big time. Maybe the "Material Girl" can write him a check!! Madonna in her 50's, A-Rod a little over 30 years old. This doesn't add up....unless Alex Rodriguez is attempting at another unreachable record? Wilt Chamberlain had thousands of girls he had sex with and logged every one in a journal. He holds the record for most logged in different women.

The best rivalry in sports gets underway again on Thursday as the Red Sox and Yankees begin an important four-game series in New York. Unlike previous occasions though, this will not be a battle for first place since the Tampa Bay Rays hold that position in the American League East.

The Tampa Bay Rays begin the second half of the season in first place in the American League East. To stay there they will have to beat the second place Boston Red Sox as the teams open up a three game series at Tropicana Field. The last time that Tampa pitcher James Shields faced the Red Sox he was involved in a brawl in Boston after hitting Coco Crisp with a pitch. Eight players were suspended due to the brawl and neither team has forgotten. Crisp is suspended and will not play in tonight’s game. This series has been dominated by the home team this season with the Red Sox winning all six of their home games and the Rays winning all three of their home games back in April. SBG Global reports that early MLB betting has the public taking Red Sox on the Road. MLB Betting Preview Boston Red Sox (50-34) at Tampa Bay Rays (49-32) Monday, 7:10 pm Eastern SBG Global Opening Line: Rays -135 , Total 9 Under -120 The Rays have the best record in their history at the half way mark. They just completed a 5-1 road trip. Shields will try and get over the .500 mark for them tonight. His ERA is nice at 3.76 but he is only 5-5 on the season. He had one great outing against Boston this season shutting them out in April but then allowed 10 runs in a May loss. He is 1-4 with a 5.66 ERA in seven starts against them in his career. SBG Global Current Line: Rays -148 , Total 9 Under -125 Boston lost two of three in Houston and will try and avoid their first three-game losing streak since May. Justin Masterson gets the call on Monday. He is 4-1 with a 3.43. He beat Tampa Bay earlier this month. Here are the MLB betting stats for Monday’s game. The Red Sox are 5-1 in their last 6 vs. the American League East. The Red Sox are 6-13 in their last 19 road games vs. a right-handed starter. The Red Sox are 3-7 in their last 10 games as a road underdog. The Red Sox are 5-1 in Masterson’s last 6 starts. The Red Sox are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings in Tampa Bay The Rays are 4-0 in their last 4 Monday games. The Rays are 5-1 in their last 6 overall. The Rays are 20-6 in their last 26 home games vs. a right-handed starter. The Rays are 21-7 in their last 28 games as a home favorite. The Rays are 9-1 in Shields' last 10 starts as a home favorite. The Rays are 1-6 in Shields' last 7 starts vs. the Red Sox. The Under is 5-1-1 in the Red Sox last 7 overall. The Under is 4-1 in the Red Sox last 5 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Under is 6-2 in the Rays last 8 games as a favorite. The Under is 7-3 in the Rays last 10 vs. the American League East. The Under is 19-9-1 in the Rays last 29 overall. The Cubs and White Sox meet for the last time this season on Sunday, unless of course both teams make it to the World Series. "It's not unrealistic to think both teams could get there, and that's both teams' goals," White Sox third baseman Joe Crede added. "It would be great for the city and the fans."
MLB Betting Picks Preview Chicago Cubs at Chicago White Sox Sunday, 8:05 pm Eastern – ESPN
The Cubs have been great at home this season but continue to struggle on the road. That could give the edge to the Sox on Sunday. The White Sox are very similar to the Cubs in that respect as they are super at home but below average on the road. Heading into this weekend series the Cubs had won 9 of the last 10 games against the White Sox including the sweep at Wrigley last week. Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global. Both the Cubs and White Sox have solid lineups but both are dealing with injuries. The Cubs had to deal with having Alfonso Soriano out of the lineup and now could be without Kosuke Fukudome. The White Sox have slugger Paul Konerko on the disabled list. Both teams do have solid pitching as heading into the weekend the Sox were second in the American League with a 3.42 ERA while the Cubs were at 3.77 which is second in the National League. Both teams are trying not to look ahead to what could be in October. "Obviously, you don't want to get ahead of yourself," said White Sox designated hitter Jim Thome, "If that all plays out, we'll look at that in the future. But right now, we're focused on what we need to do to win our division, and we got some teams behind us that have been playing well."
MLB betting at SBG Global. Sunday’s finale has Sean Marshall matching up against Mark Buehrle. Marshall is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA this season. He is making his second and probably last start in place of Carlos Zambrano who went on the DL. He is 1-1 with a 2.92 ERA in his career against the Cubs. Buehrle has been up and down this season for the Sox. He is 5-6 with a 4.04 ERA. In his last start against the Dodgers he struck out two batters which got him to the 1,000 strikeout mark in his career. He went eight innings for the fourth straight time and is 3-0 with a 1.36 ERA in his last four starts. He is 3-4 with a 5.10 ERA in his career against the Cubs. - Receive up to 135% in Total Bonuses from SBG Global!
