On Saturday June 7th, UFC 85 Bedlam is going to take place in London, England at the O2 Arena. A premiere UFC 85 Bedlam betting matchup will be Michael Bisping vs Jason Day. There are several fights scheduled to be on the UFC 85 scorecard. We are going to take a look at this specific fight, between two talented fighters in Micheal Bisping and Jason Day in this UFC 85 betting preview.
Micheal Bisping will be fighting in front of his home crowd on Saturday and will have a lot to prove to the UFC crowd. He is coming into this fight with an excellent record of 16-1. His only loss was because of a decision and he has never been knocked out. He is a kick boxer and is famous for being on the television show, The Ultimate Fighter, where he won season 3. Bisping looks very poised coming into this UFC 85 fight and wants to make a huge impression, as he is looking to gain a title shot in the near future. He will be a huge fan favorite and is coming off a big win against Charles McCarthy last month. Currently the oddsmakers at Sportsbetting.com have Micheal Bisping as a -350 favorite heading into Saturday’s UFC 85 betting action. Jason Day is a very powerful Canadian fighter and currently holds a MMA record of 17-5. He in on a five fight win streak and will be fighting for only his second time in the UFC. During his last fight he defeated Alan Belcher at UFC 83 in the first round. He has been training very hard for this fight and is hungry for the win. Both fighters are able to stand their ground and are looking to win the UFC 85 betting matchup. My UFC 85 prediction is Micheal Bisping will be to strong for Day to handle and is going to win the fight in front of his home crowd with a decision. This weekend, on Saturday June 7th UFC 85 Bedlam will take place. It will take place in the O2 Arena in London, England and there are many interesting fights on the scorecard. The most exciting and main event of the evening will be between Matt Hughes and Thiago Alves. Each fighter is going to be hungry coming into this match and I expect a very good tilt between the two experienced and talented fighters. Currently Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have Matt Hughes at a -200 UFC 85 odds favorite heading into Saturday’s MMA fight.
Matt Hughes enters this fight with a MMA record of 42-6. He is recently coming off of a tough submission loss to one of the greatest fighters out there, in George St-Pierre. Hughes is considered to be one of the best welterweight fighters of all time, but the sports evolution is producing better and stronger fighters each and everyday. He is 34 years old and may only have a few more years left before it will be to late for him to get another chance to get his title back. He comes into this fight poised and ready to win. Make sure you get your UFC 85 Bedlam picks in at SportsBook.com Thiago Alves is not a fighter that should be underestimated. He holds an impressive MMA record of 14-3 and is on a five fight winning streak. In his last 2 fights he defeated tough oppenents in Chirs Lytle and Karo Parisyan. He is very young at 24 years old and has a very bright future in the UFC. He shows great heart and passion. Ever since he lost back in 2005, he has gone 8-1, with 7 stoppage victories. A win here would put him in line for a title shot against St-Pierre so this will be a very important fight for Avles.
