The much anticipated UFC 84 is going to take place today.  UFC 84 "Ill Will" will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.  There is going to be a lot of great UFC fights tonight.  I am going to discuss how to bet on UFC 84 fights and give you my UFC 84 predictions. The main event of the night is going to be P.J. Penn vs. Sean Sherk for the UFC 84 Lightweight championship.  There has been a lot of smack talk from both fighters for this match.  Penn is just recently getting into top form.  He is excellent at submissions and has a strong stand up game.  Sherk is in tremendous shape, is a superb wrester and has a great ground and pound game.  This is a tough fight to call.  I think that Sherk is going to be very hungry coming into this fight.  He has an impressive resume, and holds a great record of 35-2-1.  He wants to regain the title and I like him upset Penn by knocking him out in the later rounds.  Currently Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have Penn has a -260 favorite heading into tonight’s UFC 84 match. 

There are many other UFC 84 "Ill Will" fights besides the main one that are going to be on the scorecard tonight.  Let’s take a look at how to bet on them.  Fan favorite, Wanderlei Silva is scheduled to fight Keith Jardine.  When deciding who to bet we look at a couple factors.  Silva at 31-8-1 holds more experience and a better record then Jardine who is 13-4-1.  Silva has excellent power striking and great technique.  I think that his world class experience is going to be too much for Jardine to handle and he will win the match by knockout. 

There are many more UFC 84 fights to bet on, including:  Wilson Gouveia vs. Goran Reljic and Tito Ortiz vs. the undefeated Lyoto Machida.  When choosing who to bet remember to always research both fighters and get some incite as to what each different fighter’s styles are and how they match up against each other.  UFC 84 is going to be spectacular so make sure you get in on the action and bet.
