MMA betting fans will be glued to Spike tonight to see the UFC 70: Nations Collide being held at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England. This is the second time that the UFC has held an event in the UK., Manchester is a town with a reputation for being tough, UFC 70: Nations Collide will be their first Ultimate Fighting Championship event.
The marquee MMA fight of the night is between PRIDE FC Open-Weight Grand Prix champion, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović, and heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga. Bodog.com has posted betting odds on this fight making Mirko Cro Cop the favorite at -600.
Other MMA Fights on the card include former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski taking on PRIDE FC veteran and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Fabricio Werdum. Bodog.com has Andrei Arlovski at -125 and the slight favorite.
The card will instead air on Spike TV in North America at 9pm EDT on a 6 hour tape delay. The card will be broadcast live on PPV in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Setanta Sports.
