The 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North include the Cleveland Browns and I'm taking them to win this division, the real test is to see if quarterback Derek Anderson is for real. Pittsburgh comes in 2nd place. I know it is a tough schedule but they should be able to grind it out. Baltimore is 3rd place. They have a fresh start with new coach and the defense is still outstanding. Cincinnati comes in last place, too many distractions, that are bad for quarterback Palmer. The oddsmakers at SportsBetting.com have all the 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North , let’s review some NFL picks in the AFC North.
Baltimore Ravens- Last year was another dismal year for the offense and it finally cost coach Brian Billick his job. He coached Baltimore for nine seasons and now they replace him with coach John Harbaugh. He is all about mental and physical toughness. I think this will help this team become more consistent than it has been. The offensive line should be stronger since they played many guys last year. The 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North at Sportsbetting.com have Baltimore Ravens 7-1 to win the AFC North division. Cincinnati Bengals- They should have traded wide receiver Chad Johnson, but they didn't. He spent most of the off-season ostracizing himself and his teammates. They were 7-9 last year. They couldn't stop anyone on defense. I do think new comer Pat Sims and the other rookie Jason Shirley should help to address some concerns on defense this year. The Bengals say they are more committed to running the ball this season. We shall see. The 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North at Sportsbetting.com have Cincinnati Bengals 9/2 to win the AFC North division. Cleveland Browns- In the past three years the Browns have made more trades then any team in the league. They picked up two defensive lineman this year. Shaun Rogers is determined to shed the lazy player image he gained with the Lions. Corey Williams has seven sacks last season and is a major upgrade at left end. A year ago, the Browns improved 22 notches in offensive ranking. A similar upgrade on defense would put the team in the thick the of conference title. The 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North at Sportsbetting.com have Cleveland Browns 9/4 to win the AFC North division. Pittsburgh Steelers- This year Pittsburgh has the toughest schedule, fourteen of their sixteen games are against teams that had winning records last season. They seem to be losing ground on the up and coming Cleveland team, and they will need to win this division and grind it out to make the playoffs this year. If the Steelers make it though, they could be all spent for the playoffs. The 2008 NFL Odds to win AFC North at Sportsbetting.com have Pittsburgh Steelers 4/5 to win the AFC North division.
