On Friday, in the Javon Walker case the judge has set bail at $73,000 for the man that has been charged with kidnapping, beating and robbing the Oakland wide receiver this month is Las Vegas.  A lawyer for Arfat Fadel say's he will plead not guilty to charges.  I can't believe these guys in Las Vegas rob people of there hard earned money.  Javon was having some fun in Vegas going clubbing, but when you are wearing all kinds of Jewelry and have money like that you should have one or two body guards with you at all times.  The law needs to be harder on felons who refuse to get jobs like the rest of us.  The NFL betting odds at Sportsbook.com have the Oakland Raiders at 7 to 1 to win the AFC West.

I think there is more to this story that will come out in the next month or so.  We don't know yet if Fadel will make bail, he told a Judge on Wednesday that he could post $13,000 bail in a separate domestic battery case.  The funny thing in this care is that the bail isn't even as much as what they took from him.  $73K for bail is ridiculous, and he got $100K in jewels.  I'm not a math teacher but that is a nice day of work to make $27K.  Police said Arfat Fadel, of Las Vegas, was accused of multiple felonies, including kidnapping, robbery, battery and conspiracy in a June 16 robbery.  Lt. Clinton Nichols said Walker lost about $3,000 in cash and $100,000 worth of jewelry in the robbery.  

Police say Walker willingly went with Fadel and got into the vehicle and another man on June 16th before robbed and beaten.  Police say Walker sustained broken bones in his jaw and around his right eye, and more than that.  I don't know why he was in Las Vegas in the first place with football season around the corner, and bought 15K worth of champagne.  I wonder what $15,000 champagne taste like?  I would say not so good.  I do it all the time with my friends, but we spend $20 a bottle of champagne, we save the other 14,980 dollars because we aren't IDIOTS!!!
