Tonights NCAA picks at Dukes Cameron indoor stadium Maryland could go by the nickname "Cameron Bandits" instead of Terrapins. Duke has gone (12-0 SU, 8-2-1 ATS) as the home NCAA picks , but Maryland has stolen 3 of the last 4 contests at Cameron indoor stadium. The Terrapins are 3-2 ATS in the last 5 games in Durham.


After Maryland (16-8 SU, 9-10 ATS lost to American University on Dec. 22, no one gave much thought to the terrapins contending for the ACC title. The Terrapins seemed to have been motivated by that loss, though, and have gone 10-2 SU and 8-2 ATS since then. Maryland�s conference record is now 6-3 just 1 game behind North Carolina including an 82-80 upset win over the Tar Heels as road dog�s.

Since losing to Duke on Jan. 27 Maryland (16-8 SU, 9-10 ATS) has reeled off 4 straight wins (4-0 ATS) by an average of 7.8 points. The Terrapins most recent win Feb. 9, was as 8 � point home favorites against North Carolina State 84-70 Senior Forward James Gist led the team over the Wolfpack, scoring a career high 30 points. Greivis Vasquez had 13 points, 15 assists and 9 rebounds.

Maryland is 4-4 SU and 5-3 ATS on the road this NCAA picks season.

Duke (21-1 SU, 13-7-1 ATS) is undefeated in ACC play (9-0) and 1 overtime loss on Dec 20 to then 11th ranked Pittsburg away from being perfect overall. Duke won 10 of its last 11 since then by double digits, with Maryland catching the 9 point loss.

Saturday, the Blue Devils won there 11th straight NCAA picks over Boston College 90-80. Duke was the 19 point home favorites failing to cover the NCAA picks for the first time since Jan. 9. Senior Demarcus Nelson had 23 points against BC and leads the team overall averaging 15.5 PPG. Kyle Singler a 6 foot 8 inch freshman scored 24 points and hauled in 10 rebounds against the Eagles.

For the last 3 seasons Duke is (41-5 SU) at Cameron indoor stadium but they received two of those loses from Maryland.
