Week 4 College Football Odds Virginia Tech vs North Carolina: The Hokies are 2-1 coming into this game, they came out with a win last week over a tough Georgia Tech team, 20-17. The Hokies put together a late scoring drive, the defense forced three turnovers and then held on in a harrowing finish. Officially the game was on the ground last week as QB Tyrod Taylor only threw 14 passes going 9/14 for only 48 yards. RB Evans, who gained 94 yards on 19 carries, had an 8-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Last year this game was played at VT with VT winning 17-10. VTech is 17-5 ATS in their last 22 road games. The Oddsmakers at LooseLines.com currently have North Carolina -3 favorites to Virginia Tech heading into this matchup with the total at 44.5 points.
The Tar Heels 2-0 coming into this matchup. In the season opener they won against McNeese State, 35-27 and last week they won big beating Rutgers, 44-12. I'm not saying UNC can't win because they can if their two big receivers combing for 325 yards or more. UNC looked good against Rutgers, but let's be honest, Rutgers is a terrible football team. The victory last week was the Tar Heels' biggest since a 52-17 win over Duke in 2001. "This is a great feeling," senior linebacker Mark Paschal said. "Being here so long and never winning out the state of North Carolina to have an opportunity to come in here and get a win is great. It's great for me. It's great for the team and great for all the guys who have been here." This will be UNC's first real test of the year, and there is a very good chance that the winner of this game will be the winner of the division. Week 4 College Football Odds: The home crowd will be fired up for this game, but will it energize the Heels to a victory? UNC wants respect now and is hungry. VT is trying to shake the rust and regain the lost swagger. The fact is though, VT has the secondary to cover them and if VT gets pressure on the QB it could be a long game for UNC. The road team in this series is 3-0 ATS. I'm going to have a play on this game today, so check out my Week 4 College Football Odds page. Also on Saturday I'm releasing my Big 10 Total Of The Year and my CFB Crusher Game Of The Year, and both games will have a huge guarantee on them, so check out my Week 4 College Football Odds. Week 4 College Football Picks Wake Forest vs Florida State: The Demon Deacons are ranked 18th in the land coming into this weekend and they are 2-0 on the season. They just got by two weeks ago beating Mississippi 30-28. QB Riley Skinner on the season is 59 of 79 for 487 yards and 5 TD's and the best thing is no INT's yet. "You've got mature guys out there. You've got guys that have been through it," said Riley, a redshirt junior. "We were pretty efficient with how we lined up." Skinner completed 32-of-43 passes for 267 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions last game. Wake is not as talented as FSU at any position. However they are smart and execute the plays better then any team in the nation. But being smart and executing correctly can't win you every game. They have had two weeks now to prepare for this game, but it is on the road. The oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com currently have Florida State -4 favorites to Wake Forest with the total at 47 points.
The Seminoles are 2-0 on the season with two blow out wins, but they were against teams that are nobodies. They beat Western Carolina 69-0 and last week Chattanooga 46-7. This FSU team is not the same team of old that would commit penalty after penalty. FSU is ranked 24th in the land coming into this week's game. This is a game between two ranked teams, even though there is no possible reason that FSU should be ranked with the level of opponents they've played. I don't see FSU coming in to this game and making all the mistakes that Wake feeds off of. Week 4 College Football Picks: Yes, Florida State has played some cupcakes to start the season off, but they did what they were supposed to do with these teams, blow them out in a big way. Two years ago Wake Forest won this game on the road 30-0, last season they won this game at home 24-21. The Nols have some revenege on their minds. Also on Saturday I'm releasing my Big 10 Total Of The Year and my CFB Crusher Game Of The Year, and both games will have a huge guarantee on them, so check out my Week 4 College Football Picks. Week 4 College Football Predictions LSU vs Auburn: The Tigers are 2-0 coming into this game but their two wins were against cupcakes, a win in week one, 41-13 over Appalachian State and a win last week against North Texas 41-3. This will be their first test of the season. In last week's win, RB Scott ran for touchdowns of 39 and 43 yards, Trindon Holliday scored on a 92-yard punt return. It may come down to a defensive score as a winner and I also feel that the LSU defense will provide better field position which will lead to short successful drives for the Tigers of LSU. If LSU wants to keep their national champion hopes a live and repeat as champions they probably will need to win this game, or they will have no shot. The last time LSU visited Auburn was a 7-3 loss on Sept. 16, 2006. The Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com currently have LSU -3 favorites to Auburn heading into this matchup with the total at 38 points.
Auburn has already played three games this season and won all of them. Last week though they really struggled against Mississippi State as they pulled of a win 3-2. They played lights out on defense, Mississippi State never crossed the 50 yard line except when taking over on a turnover. Auburn held MSU 0 of 14 on 3rd down conversions .. the offense moved the ball well but lost in in the red zone. Special teams will be important for field position and turnovers could be costly and lead to points quickly. The HC on last weeks game- "It's all about defense when you go on the road," Tuberville said. "We gave up zero first downs on 14 chances and only 115 yards on offense. You can win a lot of games like that." Week 4 College Football Predictions- The winner of this game has won this division the last 6 out of 8 years. Auburn's offense last week is what stopped them, MSST had some good plays defensively no doubt, but Auburn couldn't get out of its own way. The last 4 games in this series has been decided by 3 points or less. This is the first road game for LSU’s young QB’s Hatch. Check out my College Football Picks page as I might have a play on this game. Also on Saturday I'm releasing my Big 10 Total Of The Year and my CFB Crusher Game Of The Year, and both games will have a huge guarantee on them, so check out my College Football Picks. In this College Football odds preview the Sun-Belt Owls take a trip to Minnesota to visit the Gophers out of the Big-10. The College Football odds makers at BetUS.com have the Minnesota Gophers as the -6.5 (-110) point college football betting favorite heading into this matchup. The Gophers have opened the season 3-0 but have done so with smoke and mirrors mostly due to an easy schedule. They opened the season against Northern Illinois who was able to amass 398 total yards against them and were leading the game with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Northern Illinois is a team that went 2-10 last season and is frankly not a good college football club. In their 2nd game they caught Bowling Green in a terrible let down spot off a huge win against Pittsburgh and were able to win fairly easily. It is noteworthy that the Gophers only out-gained the Falcons by 12 yards and were in a very tight college football game till the 4th quarter. View "TeddyJune" College Football picks now!
In their most recent game in an unlined affair they beat lowly Montana State by 12 points in a game they were down early in. Montana State once again outgained them in the yardage 356 to 352 but was unable to overcome some poor turnovers. The Owls enter this ball game at 1-2 but unlike the Gophers they are an underrated football squad. Last week they played a tough ball game in Michigan State in horrible weather conditions and in turn were unable to generate much offense as they primarily are a passing team. Many will remember the Owls from last year and their great run towards the end of the year o grab a bowl bid and then bowl victory over Memphis. Well this is an even better team as they have experience and outstanding 18 returning starters. Junior Rusty Smith has started the year a bit slow but I expect him to pick things up this afternoon against a Minnesota squad that has given up on average 268.3 passing yards per game against poor competition. This game is a case where the market has overreacted to the fast start by Minnesota and on the other side undervalued the Owls. It is also noteworthy the Gophers have a meeting with Ohio State on deck.

Although I’m new here at OnlineSportsHandicapping.com, I’m not new to handicapping college football. Another week of glorious NCAA football is upon us and I’d like to look at several early College Football Week 4 odds and games that have peaked my interest. I wish I had started doing picks on OnlineSportsHandicapping.com last week, as a 5-0 weekend would have been a good start here.
I’m going to discuss an SEC matchup first because, well, we all know it… it’s the best conference. College Football week 4 betting odds have Nick Saban and Alabama traveling to Arkansas this week in an intriguing post-Run-DMC era. (12:30ET kickoff) Saban has the Tide playing good ball to start the season at 3-0. The jury is still out on how “real” the Clemson destruction was, but the bottom line is that Alabama is doing what they are supposed to do. Arkansas is also off to an unbeaten start, albeit not quite as impressively as the Tide. With Bama on the road @ -9 (ML -390) and Arkansas home @ +310 at BodogLife.com, I have some interesting numbers and stats that have determined the direction this game will go and how to play it. Another College Football week 4 odds matchup I’m looking at is Central Michigan traveling to Purdue. (12:00ET kickoff) The Boilermakers are coming off a great overtime game with Oregon after opening with a BYE over Northern Colorado. Purdue can’t look past this Central Michigan team or Dan LeFevour will make them pay. Purdue should know all about LeFevour after last year’s game when he torched them for 4TDs in the air, and 2 more on the ground. Aside from a setback at powerhouse Georgia, Central Michigan has handled their business so far this year and they think they are ready to take last year’s close loss to Purdue one step further. The line opened at Purdue-10 and the bettors are pushing it up. Are the bettors correct? See my picks for the answer to that question. These two early picks should get Saturday off to a good start and if you like what you get, there will be plenty of time to come back for my late picks as well.
