College Football Picks Louisville Cardinals vs Pitt Panthers: The Louisville Cardinals travel north to Pittsburgh to take on Dave Wannstedt's Panthers in this Big-East college football picks match-up. The Louisville Cardinals were caught looking ahead last week vs Syracuse and got snake-bit by the Orangemen! The Cards were probably also experiencing a letdown after beating South Florida the week before. The Cards will look to get back on-track behind QB Hunter Cantwell (12 TD / 10 INT). Cantwell has a strong arm and should be able to find some open receivers against Pitt. Can the Cards bounce back and get bowl eligible this week???

The TCU Horned Frogs have been a surprise team this season with a 9-1 record. They are also a profitable 7-2 ATS. TCU is led by QB Andy Dalton who is a great game manager and doesn't make crucial mistakes. His TD / INT ratio is a very good 9:2. The Frogs average over 36 points per game, and they will need to do well on offense tonight in this Thursday showdown. There is no question that the heart and soul of this TCU team is its amazing DEFENSE. The defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game which is arguably the best in the country. TCU's defense will need to play a superb game to slow down Utah's potent offense!
The Utah Utes come into this game with an undefeated 9-0 record. They are also profitable against the spread with a 4-3 clip. Utah is led offensively by the very efficient QB Brian Johnson, who is completing an amazing 67% of his passes this season. Johnson also has a good TD / INT ratio of 14:8. Utah struggled last week against New Mexico but probably because they were looking ahead to this showdown!

Free College Football Picks - Northern Illinois vs Ball State Betting Preview: The Huskies are playing four straight college football picks matchups on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. The Huskies, off a bye week won 16-13 over Bowling Green at home on Oct. 25. The Cardinals are (8-0) and ranked #17 in the AP Poll coming into this game. Now, in tonight's affair, the Cardinals have a chance to show the nation just how good they are. Ball State has a high-powered passing attack led by Nate Davis. They also had a bye last week their last game they defeated Eastern Michigan 38-16 on Oct. 25. Northern Illinois has close losses against better opponents (Minnesota and Tennessee) than anyone Ball State has played.

The Toledo Rockets have struggled uncharacteristically this season. Head Coach Tom Amstutz has since announced that he will be stepping down as Toledo Head Coach. QB Aaron Opelt has done well this season though, as his TD / INT ratio is 8:3. He will need a big game tonight if Toledo is going to pull the road upset. Here are some trends in favor of Toledo:

The Akron Zips have been a surprise team in the MAC this season. QB Chris Jacquemain is having a decent year, as he has thrown 14 TDs and 10 INTs on the season. He is also averaging 6.9 yards per pass attempt. Here are some trends favoring the Zips:

TOL are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 road games

MAC College Football Picks Ball State vs NIU and Arkron vs. Toledo: College football gamblers who can't get enough play should be delighted to learn Wednesday night is full of college football picks action with two nationally televised games from the MAC. Ball State must keep winning and in impressive fashion to keep pace with the other ranked prospective BCS-busters, Utah, Boise State and TCU, all ranked above the Cardinals. Ball State needs those schools to loose creating room to move up. Wednesday's game presents a great opportunity for Ball State to get some much needed national attention. A Ball State loss would end its BCS hopes but the school would still have a chance to win a MAC championship.
Akron needs a win over Toledo to keep pace with Buffalo in the MAC East-Division standings where the Zips and Bulls are knotted in first place. Tuesday night Buffalo went up one game in the win column after defeating Miami (Ohio). The Zips are likely to face an emotional Rockets team who take the field after learning head coach Tom Astutz will step down as head coach at the end of the season.
