Do Bye Weeks Buy You Any Cash in College Football..... (09-25-2007)
As we traverse through the Colllege Football season and delve into the statistical quagmire, there is no doubt that we can come up with numerous plays to plunk down our money. The question becomes what really are profitable opportunities versus just meaningless stats. There has also been many "opinions" on how bye weeks affect football teams. However, most of those bye week situations have been focused on the NFL. So that College football doesn't get slighted I decided to see what type of impact bye weeks had and whether or not they presented good opportunities.

After much crunching of the angles and trends I was able to hone in on some great angles that presents us with some good opportunities this weekend. Keep in mind that as game time approaches situations could impact, both positively and negatively, any one of these games. With that being said, here are this weeks profit plays:

Angle: Teams who are playing their fourth game of the season, coming off a week of rest, and listed as a favorite this week.

Teams in this situation are a sparkling 82-62 ATS since 1980. In looking at this week we have Florida State, Fresno State, Nevada and Vanderbilt who all fit into this situation.

Angle Qualifier #1: Teams in the above trend who are playing a team who won their previous game.

In this situation this qualifier puts our proposition at a profitable 46-22 ATS.

Angle Qualifier #2: Add that the opponent of this team is also a non-conference foe.

When you add this qualifier you end up with a sparkling 16-2 ATS mark.

So, in order to profit this weekend all you have to do is look at these four teams and see which ones are favored playing a non-conference opponent off of a win last week as it is money in the bank.

Michael has yet to have a losing weekend of football, so join him this weekend for GUARANTEED Winners.
