NCAA Football Picks Connecticut vs Temple: Big win last week for Temple over Army 35-7. The replays prove that Temple won last year's game but the refs didn't want to spoil UConn's season with a loss to lowly Temple, so they are looking for revenge this season. Temple ran a fourth down reverse pass and completed it in the end zone. They said it was no catch and he was out of bounds. They went to the replay booth and officials to overturn it, when it was clearly, in my eye, a TD. The Owls are now 5-3 in their last eight games, with that confidence-boosting win at Army the ideal way to start the campaign. It's been many years since the Owls were competitive in football and this is still a rebuilding year but I'm looking at a team that is a year ahead of schedule and should challenge for the MAC title. The Oddsmakers at Bodoglife.com currently have Temple +7 underdogs to Connecticut heading into this matchup with the total at 38 points. Connecticut does not show us the playmakers in the skill positions to get anything easily on the road. The Owls really have a chance this season to win the MAC conference. The team officially has more experience than last season. The only thing UConn has ever been good at is basketball. Nobody even knew UConn had at team until last year! UConn will put up a fight but Temple has nothing to lose anymore and last year the refs knew that was a touchdown they just didn't want to hear the media. NCAA Football Picks: I like Temple to get the win in this spot, with a lot of revenge on their minds after last season. You also have to remember that the Huskies also have some revenge coming up next week against Virginia so they maybe looking a head in this one.
