Week 4 College Football Predictions Alabama vs Arkansas: The Crimson Tide are a solid 3-0 coming into this game tonight.  All three games were blow out games over Clemson, Tulane and last week Western Kentucky.  QB John Parker Wilson 50/80 on the season for 62.5% and 4TD's and 1INT.  If Alabama’s offensive line comes to play, Arkansas won’t have a shot at an upset.  Andre Smith headlines a bruising group that will open holes for the tailbacks for four quarters.  Alabama has a very stiff D and the Hog's D is one of the worst, if not the worst in the SEC.  The key to 'Bama winning this game will be consistency on the fundamentals.  The talent is there, it's just a matter of it being applied.  I haven't seen Arkansas play yet, but I do know they play this game tough.  The Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com currently have Alabama -8.5 favorites to Arkansas heading into this matchup with the total at 46.5 points.

The Razorbacks are the home team here, and they are 2-0 on the season but they haven't played anyone and just got by these cupcakes games.  They won 28-24 opening week to Western Illinois, and two weeks ago they won against UL Monroe, 28-27.  They have had an extra week to prepare for this game.  Is any team in the nation facing a four week stretch like Arkansas' murderous next month?  I hope these young kids can pull out at least one of them.  They play Alabama this week followed by Texas, Florida and Auburn.  No way Arkansas would be averaging close to 500 YPG this year if they were playing under HC Nutt.  They lost Jone, McFadden, Monk, and Hillis and there still averaging 2nd best in the SEC in YPG.
