2008 Grammy Awards betting odds:

Song of the Year

Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood 5/6
Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's 11/4
Like a Star - Corrine Bailey Rae 8/1
Rehab - Amy Winehouse 9/4
Umbrella - Rihanna featuring Jay-Z 5/2

We are going with Umbrella above. Rihanna was a real up and comer, like Amy Winehouse except she stayed out of trouble, is adorable, and respected by the general public. Hey There Delilah or Rehab would be our other choices, but we are staying away from Carrie Underwood as the favorite.

Album of the Year

Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace - Foo Fighters 7/2
These Days - Vince Gill 15/4
River: The Joni Letters - Herbie Hancock 4/1
Graduation - Kanye West 1/3
Back To Black - Amy Winehouse 3/1

Hands down our favorite above is Kanye West and Graduation. You have to lay a heavy price in order to bet on him, but it's totally worth it as he proves that he is fresh, unique, and constantly pushing the envelope. Again, Amy Winehouse would be the second choice, but Kanye will take this one.

Record of the Year

Irreplaceable – Beyonce 2/1
The Pretender - Foo Fighters 4/1
Umbrella - Rihanna featuring Jay-Z 3/2
What Goes Around...Comes Around - Justin Timberlake 3/1
Rehab - Amy Winehouse 7/4

The way everyone loves Justin Timberlake, we are going to take him on this one even though he's one of the category's bigger underdogs. The other value bet we see here is with Beyonce. Again it seems like this is almost a toss up as all of these songs are really good and there is no obvious front runner.

Best Female Pop Vocal Performance

Candyman - Christina Aguilera 7/2
1234 – Feist 4/1
Big Girls Don't Cry – Fergie 5/2
Say It Right - Nelly Furtado 4/1
Rehab - Amy Winehouse 5/7

They have to let Amy Winehouse win something, I mean she is pretty deserving even if she's a crazy bitch right? This is her category.

Best Male Pop Vocal Performance

Everything - Michael Buble 7/2
Belief - John Mayer 4/1
Dance Tonight - Paul McCartney 9/2
Amazing - Seal 15/4
What Goes Around...Comes Around - Justin Timberlake 1/3

Justin Timberlake is the front runner here and we think there is a good reason why. He'll bring home this category since he is the new king of pop.

Best Rock Album

Daughtry – Daughtry 3/1
Revival - John Fogerty 6/1
Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace - Foo Fighters 1/3
Magic - Bruce Springsteen 4/1
Sky Blue Sky – Wilco 7/1

The Foo Figthers are the favorite and pretty deserving, but Daughtry came out of nowhere after his American Idol start. I really liked this Album and think he deserves a look, especially as a nice underdog.

Best R&B Album

Funk This - Chaka khan 3/1
Lost & Found – Ledisi 5/2
Luvanmusiq - Musiq Soulchild 9/4
The Real Thing - Jill Scott 1/1
Sex, Love & Pain – Tank 11/4

When it comes to this category, I'm pretty clueless. I'm not a big R&B fan, but Chaka khan is pretty solid so that's who my bet is on.

Best Rap Album

Finding Forever – Common 15/4
Kingdom Come - Jay-Z 9/2
Hip Hop is Dead – Nas 13/4
T.I. vs. T.I.P. - T.I. 7/2
Graduation - Kanye West 1/6

What can you say here. A lot is made how rap is just full of gangsters and bad lyrics, but nobody can say that about Kanye. He's an artist above the rest, even though the other four had some great albums.

Best Country Album

Long Trip Alone - Dierks Bentley 5/1
These days - Vince Gill 1/3
Let It Go - Tim McGraw 7/2
5th Gear - Brad Paisley 4/1
It Just Comes Natural - George Strait 5/2

They say bet with your head and not your heart, but George Straight is one of my all-time favorites when it comes to country. There's not a chance in hell I'm not taking him on these underdog odds since his new album was just another great one full of hits.
