Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are attempting to welcome a one-year-old
Malawian boy, David Banda into their family and the process is proving to be
nothing short of arduous.
The
struggle began when the adopted boy’s father did not understand the concept of
adoption, and recently, human rights groups in
Malawi
have said they
are concerned that the government cut legal corners to fast-track the adoption.
Human rights groups are demanding the adoption laws there be clarified to
prevent this type of incident in the future.
With
Madonna being one of the most world-recognized celebrities, the public
