The Boston Red Sox are in the playoffs but they are still trying to clinch the American League East. They open up a two game series at home against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday. The Red Sox have a two game lead over the Yankees in the division and have a favorable schedule. After this two game set, the Red Sox close out at home versus Minnesota.
