2007 MLB Preview - Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Indians (May 31)
SBG Global Opening Line: Indians -133, Total 8.5 flat

It doesn't get much easier for the Cleveland Indians as they open a four game set against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. The Indians are coming off a series against the Boston Red Sox who have the best record in all of baseball and now face the Tigers. SBG Global reports that early wagers have the public taking the Indians at home.

The good news for Cleveland is that they get their ace, C.C. Sabathia to start the series on Thursday against Detroit. Sabathia pitched well against the Tigers on Saturday and gets a rematch with Justin Verlander. Sabathia walked just one and gave up six hits and three runs over seven innings in the 6-3 win.

Verlander left with a 3-2 lead against the Indians on Saturday but did not get a decision. He threw 105 pitches, mainly because he walked four against Cleveland in that matchup.

The Indians are -153 favorites with a total of 8.5 Over (-120) at SBG Global.

The Tigers are 7-1 in their last 8 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Tigers are 2-5 in their last 7 road games. The Tigers are 1-4 in their last 5 games as a road underdog.
