Two of the best teams in the National League start a three game series tonight in New York as the Mets host the Brewers. Milwaukee has been the surprise of baseball but gets a true test now as they play 13 of their next 16 on the road, beginning with a three-game series against the Mets. Early wagering at SBG Global has the public all over the favored Mets. "Everybody is making a big deal about this Mets series, like this is a big test for us," Geoff Jenkins said, "Every day is a test - and three games is a big deal - but in the course of the whole season, it is not the end of the world, no matter what happens." Milwaukee goes to Philadelphia for four games before returning home next Friday for a three-game series with Minnesota. The Brewers then head back to the road for six in a row against the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres. The New York Mets are -126 favorites with a total of 9 flat (-110) at SBG Global. The Brewers are coming off a 10 game homestand in which they went 9-1. "Whenever you're able to win nine out of 10, it's unbelievable," said closer Francisco Cordero, "We've had good pitching and hitting and defense, a little bit of everything."
