The Texas Rangers and New York Yankees meet in the 2nd game of their three game set at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. It will be Robinson Tejeda for the Rangers against Mike Mussina for the Yankees. The Rangers may be getting Frank Catalanotto back next week but he will not be available tonight and that is good news for Mike Mussina. Tejeda lost to the Yankees in that doubleheader last week even though he allowed just three runs in 6 1/3 innings. He is 0-2 with an 8.68 ERA in two career starts against New York. He is 2-0 with a 2.92 ERA in two starts on the road. Left-handed hitters are batting .300 off him while right-handers are hitting .197. New York has Mike Mussina going tonight and in his last start he looked like the Mussina of old. Mussina got the win in his return start, giving up four hits and one run in five innings.
