New England isn't the only team with a chance to win the AFC, so the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl odds may be of interest to those of you thinking that an upset may be in the making somewhere along the line. Those of you who did some NFL betting in last year's playoff probably either made money betting on the Colts or lost some cash in going against them. It seems like everyone is caught up in what the Patriots are doing this year and the same people are forgetting just how good Manning and company was in the playoffs last year, and for the most part how well they played this season. This team thinks that they let one get away in New England earlier in the year and they are aching for another shot, so if you think they have what it takes then think about betting these odds below. Oddsmakers at BetOnline.com have the Colts as a 8.5 point favorite for this NFL AFC playoff matchup. This team thinks that they let one get away in New England earlier in the year and they are aching for another shot, so if you think they have what it takes then think about betting these odds below. Superbook has Indianapolis's odds to win the Super Bowl at +500 (that means for every $10 you bet you can win $50). If you want to take them to win the AFC then the value is still there at +350. The odds that the Colts win the Super Bowl at BetUS Sportsbook are currently listed at +500 as well, with the odds Indy wins the AFC title also at +350. While the Colts odds of winning the Super Bowl are a little worse for the better at +450 at Bodog Sportsbook, the odds of them winning the AFC are still at +350. Peyton Manning just keeps doing what he has been doing his whole career, and that's putting up big numbers in helping the Colts win games. This year he went under the radar with Tom Brady doing so well for the Patriots, but Manning was still 337-for-515 (65.4%) and he racked up 4,040 yards. He still managed to help Indianapolis to 31 touchdowns while only getting picked off 14 times. His passer rating was 98.0 and he started every single game for yet another season. Even without his favorite target in Marvin Harrison, who only had 20 catches for 247 yards and one touchdown, he still had a decent stable of receivers to throw to. Reggie Wayne led the way and has established himself among the league's elite with his league leading 1,510 receiving yards on 104 catches, 10 of which went for six points. Dallas Clark is a nice tight end who is almost like a slot receiver, he had 58 catches for 616 yards and 11 scores. Joseph Addai was a weapon to catch the ball out of the backfield and rookie Anthony Gonzalez played as well as expected in his first NFL season. Addai led the rushing attack with 1,072 yards on 261 attempts, which was good for a 4.1 ypc mark. He found the end zone 12 times on the ground in his second year. He was spelled by Kenton Keith in a couple of games, who managed to pick up 533 yards rushing on just 121 carries, which was good for a 4.4 ypc average. This defense hasn't gotten the credit that they deserve, since they were so bad only a few short years ago. Bob Sanders is an absolute beast and gets a lot of media attention, while the rest of the guys are more unknowns who just steadily go out there and get the job done. Still this team had the best scoring defense of any in the AFC playoffs, which makes them an instant contender in my book.
