The Atlanta Thrashers are the league’s only winless team and will try and pick up their first victory at Philadelphia when they face the Flyers on Tuesday night. Atlanta won a franchise-record 43 games last season and won the Southeast Division but has been terrible so far this year. Atlanta is allowing 4.6 goals per game and has been outscored 23-9. "It seems like every mistake the puck ends up in the back of our net," coach Bob Hartley said. "We're playing tight, and it's going to take something big to turn this around. We need to get one win to gain confidence, because we're a very fragile hockey club." SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favorite Flyers at Home. They have a star player in forward Daniel Briere and they are nothing like last year’s losing team. "This is not last year's team," coach John Stevens said, "There's just a totally different attitude in the locker room. There's no question it looked like a different team pulled it out." Briere leads the team with four goals and seven points. "We want to create an identity for ourselves and we're on the right path," Briere said. "But we can't get too excited. It's only four games into the season." Atlanta is led by forward Ilya Kovalchuk who scored two goals Saturday. Kovalchuk leads the Thrashers with three goals and four points. Saturday’s game was a brutal loss for Atlanta as they blew a 4-2 lead and lost. "We let the game get away from us because we stopped playing," said center Bobby Holik. The Thrashers are 4-18-3 with three ties against the Flyers all-time. They are 2-9-1 with two ties in Philadelphia. They have lost six straight overall against the Flyers.
