2.  Lukas Podolski (Germany) – Podolski is also a new and upcoming younger in the game.  In Germany’s first game of the tournament he played sensational as he scored 2 goals in a 2-0 Germany victory.  He is a top candidate to win the top scorer award and Germany is also a top team to win the entire Euro Cup.

3.  Ruud van Nistelrooy (Netherlands) – He has proven time and time again that he is one of the all time greats.  He led his club team, Real Madrid to two league titles in a row.  Also, he led the Netherlands to a very impressive 3-0 victory over the defending World Cup champion Italians on Monday.  He scored the first goal of the game and had several chances to get more.
