In the next couple of minutes I'll take you on a quick recap and a sneak peak of the money you can make when betting on Professional Tennis . Over the years I have found that great money can be made playing both Men's and Women's Tennis. I truly believe that the oddsmakers are still a little off on the Women's side more often than on the Men's. Those of you who cashed in (like me) on the first 3 years of the WNBA will know what I mean. The one thing you will need is time to study and most importantly, time to watch. If you don't have the time, then purchase my premium subscriptions to get paid. Jelena Jankovic (Women's No.3 seed) has emerged victorious in a draining quarter final at Australian Open 2008, beating defending champion Serena Williams in two tight sets. Jankovic came through in one hour and 39 minutes to win 6-3 6-4. Jelena was the underdog (+ 265 moneyline), which cashed in nicely for my clients and I. Seeing Serena play her first couple rounds, she didn't seem to have her legs and all of her focus. Williams (Women's No.7 seed) looked sluggish early, serving well below full speed and moving slower than normally around the court. Serena gave Jankovic all she could handle, but Jankovic brought close to her best game. Jankovic served no double faults while Williams had five. Williams made 36 unforced errors to Jankovic's 17. An unexpected double-fault from Williams gave Jankovic a match point, which she duly converted to move into the semifinals... Recap: Jankovic + 265 WON Next, Justine Henin (No.1 seed) and Russian glamor Maria Sharapova were fighting for a place in the women's semifinals at Australian Open 2008. Sharapova (No.5 seed) came into the match in excellent form, having raced through her first four matches without the loss of a set. These two, in my opinion, are the cream of the crop so far this year. Henin is the best all around player on the Women's tour for the past 6 months. While Maria is the most dangerous when she has her serve striking on the tour, which she has so far in Melbourne. If you live in the East Coast and stayed up til 3:30am to watch this match like I did, you received a treat. It was one of the best matches that I have ever seen. The first set was a 61 minute battle with Sharapova winning 6-4. The second set started off with Henin's terrific defense versus Sharapova's power and aggression. Maria seemed to win all the longer and tougher rallies in the second set. As Maria went on to dominate Henin 6-0 to place her in the Final Four. I've seen Sharapova heating up, but I have never seen her play so complete. I knew she would steal this underdog win, but I didn't see her coming out this unstoppable. I thought Henin would take a set and it cost me the Over. Recap: Sharapova + 150 WON Sharapova + 2 1/2 WON Over 22 1/2 LOST Gentlemen and Ladies, I have set up Tennis packages (all include both Men and Women's) for all price ranges.
