Roger Federer five-time Champion made his way into the second round at Wimbledon on Monday. Federer will face Robin Soderling in the second round, a former European Junior and Orange Bowl champion, with 26 of his 37 singles matches won and runner-up spots at Memphis and Rotterdam. "She played a great match," stated Venus Williams, "She put a lot of pace on the ball, forced a few errors by me. I felt confident throughout the match. I felt good out there. I always feel good on that court." As the champion, Venus Williams had started first on Centre Court that also featured wins by Andy Roddick, former champion Maria Sharapova, Lindsey Davenport and Rafeal Nadal.
